Being able to go for a lunch was a pleasant surprise. A little pricey, but considering it’s in Lagoon, that wasn’t a deal breaker. The beer batter french fries were incredible and the 1886 burger didn’t disappoint either.

I don't know what I thought a schnitzel was but it was definitely not the tiny piece of meat I had. The gravy was really delicious though. The saving grace was the potato salad which was out of this world good and so cutely presented with a lettuce leaf, a wedge of lemon, and some beautiful paprika on top. I also had the apple crumble and it did not disappoint. Really amazing texture and flavor and the ice cream just melted on top to make this a creamy, crunchy treat that you need to try. I will definitely try something else next time. This is a very charming place but shares the overpriced philosophy any amusement park does. Definitely try it for the novelty.

Probably the best food in the park. I'm not saying it's great, but it is pretty good. I had the pastrami burger and fries. The fries were actually really good - crispy and well seasoned. The burger was a frozen beef patty cooked very well done (read: dry), but the bun and condiments were very good, making it a decent, if not great, burger.

This was a pleasant surprise. Nice to have another selection at Lagoon besides the regular carnival fare. We love going to German restaurants and have eaten at a few around the country. We loved the schnitzel, sausage, and hamburgers. Wish there was a way to eat here without having to pay for Lagoon, so I don't know when we'll be able to get back here.

Really good food, but I wish they had on the kids meal menu Standard grilled cheese sandwich. They only offer for kids. One option to choose from but unfortunately my son will only eat grilled cheese sandwiches. They could add this to the menu and would sale allot.

My husband and I came for date night and we were very impressed. The food and service were great! We really enjoyed the burgers, fries and salad. The fries were made just the way we like them, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Major plus was that a drink was included with our meals. The cheesecake was satisfying and surprisingly very good. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a date night here right before Valentine’s Day. We felt welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. The person working the register was so nice! We had never been there before and he had a lot of great recommendations. I decided to try the special. It was a mashed potato bowl with delicious chicken, corn, gravy and more. I loved every bite! My only complaint is that it was tiny! If I hadn’t eaten a late lunch, I would have still been hungry. I felt like for $12, it needed to be bigger. My husband got the pork nachos and the flavors were incredible! The portion size was great, the price seemed a little high, but we’d get these again. He also got a beer (the one specifically for lagoon) and loved that as well. I loved how they decorated for the holiday. It was cute and fun and gave the place a great ambiance. If you want to try this place without paying a huge price tag (lagoon ticket + parking), then go before lagoon opens for the season. I highly suggest trying it out!
